Wellumo is a Dutch online clinic with its own doctors and its own pharmacy. We treat conditions for which people often wait too long, because talking about them is awkward or because the waiting time is too long.
Wellumo was established from a simple observation: for a portion of healthcare, a physical consultation is unnecessary, yet it remains the barrier that causes people to drop out. Weight loss, hair loss, erectile dysfunction, premature ejaculation, menopausal symptoms: all conditions for which a good questionnaire and a reviewing physician are sufficiently responsible.
What we do not do is sell medication with a doctor present just for show. It is the other way around: the doctor decides, and only after that does the pharmacy come into the picture. If the doctor disapproves, you get your money back.
We are affiliated with the Healthcare Disputes Committee (Geschillencommissie Zorg), are registered with aanbiedersmedicijnen.nl, and work with BIG-registered doctors who are listed by name and number on this site.

Six things we always do that way
Own doctors, not a conduit
Our doctors are employed and are listed by name and BIG number on this site. Every request is read manually. There is no algorithm that hands out prescriptions.
Own Dutch pharmacy
Your medicines come from our own pharmacy in the Netherlands. No detours via abroad, and therefore no uncertainty about what is on your doormat.
No approval, money back
If the doctor rejects your application, you will get the full amount back. You never pay for a treatment you do not receive.
Discreet, from start to finish
Plain packaging with no logo or description on the outside. Your bank statement will only show Wellumo.
Self-cancellable
You manage your treatment in your own account. Stopping or pausing it is done there yourself, without a phone call and without a notice period.
Support comes with the territory
A prescription alone is not a treatment. You receive explanations, follow-up moments and someone who monitors you for as long as your treatment lasts.
