Ozempic is a weekly injection that helps you feel fuller for longer. It contains the same active ingredient as Wegovy and is often used to support weight loss.
Ozempic will make you feel less hungry and reduce your need to snack. This makes it easier for you to eat less and live healthier. You use it once a week, so it fits well into a weight-loss programme.
You will receive a patient information leaflet with your order containing the full instructions for use. If you are in doubt about how to take the medication or about a side effect, please ask your question via your account. You will receive an answer from the pharmacy or the doctor who assessed your request.
Use the medicine only as prescribed by the doctor and do not stop on your own initiative without consulting.
Following approval by the doctor and dispatch by the pharmacy, your order usually arrives within one to two working days. The packaging is discreet: no logo and no indication of the contents on the outside. Only Wellumo will appear on your bank statement.
For safety reasons, medicines cannot be returned. If something is wrong with your order, please contact us within seven days and we will sort it out.

What you probably want to know
How much weight will I lose?
That varies by person and by medication. In the studies on semaglutide and tirzepatide, participants lose an average of 15 to 20% of their body weight in a year, in combination with diet and exercise. The doctor will discuss with you what is realistic.
Should I give myself an injection?
Yes, it's a weekly injection into your abdomen, thigh or upper arm using a pre-filled pen. The needle is short and thin. Your account contains a video that demonstrates it step by step.
Will I put on weight if I stop?
That risk is there. This medication suppresses the appetite as long as you take it. That is why guidance on diet and exercise is part of the programme: that is what you are left with when you stop.
Is it covered?
At the moment not from the basic health insurance, except in specific medical situations. You pay for the treatment with us yourself. All costs are shown on your screen in advance.
