Step by step
How to use your pen
This is how the pen works according to the instructions for use. With your first delivery our pharmacist also explains it personally.

Cap off
Pull the cap off the pen. Check in the window that the liquid is clear and colourless.

Attach a new needle
Remove the paper tab from the needle. Push it straight onto the pen and screw it on firmly.

Remove both needle caps
First the outer cap, which you keep. Then the inner cap, which you can throw away.

Check the flow
Turn to the flow check symbol. Hold the needle up and press the button. A small drop comes out.

Set your dose
Turn the dial until your dose shows in the window. At the start that is 0.25.

Press the button
Press the button until it shows 0. Keep it pressed and slowly count to 6.

Needle off, cap on
Outer cap back on the needle, unscrew the needle and put the cap back on the pen.

Storage
If you store the pen below 30 °C or in the fridge (2 °C to 8 °C), away from the cooling element, you can keep it for 6 weeks. Do not store Wegovy in the freezer. If the medicine has been frozen, it must not be used. Keep the cap on the pen when you are not using it. This protects it from light.
